Karen Burkholder – is an awesome Warrior. Her Warrior journey began on an East Texas farm, as the youngest of 4. Growing up she Dreamed about being her own boss and returning to her school in a red Cadillac to speak to the students about her success.
She Graduated from college with a Home Economics degree, intending to become a Dietician, and work in Nursing homes to help with the Seniors during the most difficult time of their lives. She then met her husband after moving to Dallas to work in a hospital kitchen. After experiencing her mom’s death in a nursing home, she spent the next few years working at jobs that would allow for the flexibility to be a stay-at-home mom and to raise her girls. Jobs included running an office, working with real estate investors, an embroidery business. Finally, Karen was introduced to the world of insurance and as they say “The rest is history”!
