Welcome back everyone - It's been quite the hiatus spent in Montreal and Winnipeg. As such, there was time to be introspective and reflective and thus was borne (into this world) mix cassette 2.2. Reflection tunes (eternal)! We begin with some staccato drums and brilliant melodies from St. Vincent, Wings, N.E.R.D., and Bilal; before getting into some rugged blues from the Black Keys, Canned Heat, and Blind Faith; which leads us nicely into a pastiche of sound beginning with the brand new, and really real (for real), hard core, title track from Leonard Cohen, some Neil Young, Cat Power, Mac DeMarco; and of course, the bonus gem.
