This week on the Copyright Experiment, we discuss a claim by Tim Quark, a music executive at Google Play, that it is impossible to devalue music. What does he mean by this, and do we think he's right? We also take a good hard look at Spotify, which takes a lot of the blame lately for what's been regarded as a devaluing of music. Coincidentally, Spotify has recently released more transparent information in the way it does business, and how money flows in and out of the company's pockets. We take a good look at this newly public information, and find where the real problems lie.
