What IS a life verse? Do you need one? How do you get one? Is it even right to consider picking one verse from the entire Bible to sum up your life? If we are careful to remember that ALL of Scripture is inspired by God and ALL of it is profitable for us, then a particular verse that often comes to mind and encourages you or refocuses your attention on God is not a problem. What might be a problem is purposely selecting a verse that you feel "fits your life," because God's Word is supposed to change US. It's not supposed to conform to how we live our life.
