Shamek’o A. Barren is the founder of New Mindz Mentorship Program LLC established in Fall 2017. New Mindz is a program that focuses on youth mentoring and business empowerment. She is a youth mentor , Mental Health Advocate,Author, and empowerment coach. Her goal is to look for ways to impact and change the community through education, personal, and social development. Organization has been involved in over 17 projects, mentored various kids, and has been featured in VoyageATL Magazine and recognized as Nominee in 2018 BBVA Compass Grind Awards.
