This is the story of a member of Dental Protection who was sued by a patient who had received NHS treatment carried out by associates at his former practice. This member had never treated the patient but the claimant, via their solicitors, refused to engage and continued to pursue the practice owner under both vicarious liability and non-delegable duty of care.
