Naomi Inman holds an M.A in Journalism and Public Policy from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA). She enjoys serving the Lord as a Coach and Communications consultant with her experience in radio, magazine journalism, nonprofit and corporate communications. She’s been involved as a Mentor with 4word Women and Mentors360 and is active as a lay Bible Teacher at Portland Christian Center. Naomi has been married to Greg for 30 years and has two adult sons. Her vision for mentoring grows out of a heart to see every woman find her voice and the clarity to live out her good, true and beautiful God-designed purpose. She joined the Portland OR chapter of 4word Women in the Fall of 2015 and recently mentored Judy from Astoria, Oregon. I believe mentoring is close to God’s heart, a coupling of two journeys for a season, where two women can both find their voice, gain fresh awareness, and learn to be curious about themselves and others in new ways. With 4word Women, mentoring expresses the beauty and power that women have in each other’s lives to provoke one another to success and godliness. What has mentoring taught you? What do you mean by helping women “find their voice”?How can Mentors “spur on” or “provoke” and then Encourage their mentees? Why do you like using the “Coach Approach” to mentoring? What Bible passages encourage you in mentoring others?
