This eighth commandment, "Do Not Steal," teaches us to honor one another's right to possess. The commandment not only teaches against taking from others, but also promotes giving to others. As Christians, we've been given the greatest, most valuable gift - eternal life through Jesus Christ. We have freely received, and we need to freely give (Mt. 10:7-8).
