This is the first sermon of a series, "The Ten Commandments." The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. But this fear (i.e. honor and respect) does not happen automatically. Rather, people must learn the fear of God. They must be taught to honor and respect the Lord. We live in a society that has cast off the fear and knowledge of God. This sermon - Fear the Lord - considers the context of a nation that has forgotten the commandments of the Lord.
