Roth IRA's are savings accounts funded with after tax dollars. So, there should be no income tax due when you withdraw money from a Roth IRA, right? Well, if the government has its way, that might not be the case. There is a provision in the House tax bill to tax IRA withdrawals even though the government promised that would never happen.
