UEFA Communications Consultant and Media Officer Laure James joins me to discuss her unique start in the industry and how she has adjusted to working remotely since the start of lockdown. Laure looks back on her highlights so far and tells me how getting into sports media is slightly different compared to when she did. We discuss her experiences — good and bad — of being a woman in the media, and how she is less preoccupied by it now than when she started. As well as looking forward to the return of football across Europe in the coming weeks, Laure shares where she believes things in sports media could go next and how excited she, like me, is for Euro 2020 when it comes around in 2021.
