Your Divine essence is a loving spirit. You came into this world with a deep connection to Source and your spiritual GPS system (intuition). But for most humans, life experiences taught them to depend on and expect that love is an external thing - it needs to come from others. And as a child, you may have had a "feeling" that was a message to you that certain people around you were not good but disregarded that feeling and then ended up hurt, damaged or even betrayed by them and this resulted in a lack of trust.
