Description

The death of the ego isn’t always some grand, transcendent moment, it can feel like a personal funeral for everything you've ever known about yourself. When you're shedding old patterns, beliefs, identities, and ways of being, it's natural to grieve. Even if that version of you was built on fear, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or survival mode...it was still you. And you knew how to operate within it.

But the hard truth is when you choose to stay the same, that’s the real suffering.

Rebirth isn’t glamorous at first. It's messy, confusing, uncomfortable. The new you might feel shaky and unfamiliar. And just when you think you're past the hard part, another layer of identity peels away.

You're not "losing yourself", you're losing who you thought you had to be. And on the other side of that grief is something beautiful - authenticity, inner peace, and a sense of self rooted in truth, not performance.

So yes, grieve her. Thank her. And then gently rise into who you were always meant to become.

May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey. Many blessings!
