Sometimes we carry heavy feelings such as sadness, anger, or worry and it can feel like we’re dragging around a backpack full of bricks. We wish we could just drop it and feel better right away, but healing doesn’t always work that fast.
Instead of pretending everything’s okay or trying to run from the discomfort, we can choose something braver - sitting with it. Letting the feelings be there. Not to stay stuck in them, but to let them move.
Big emotions aren’t here to break us. They’re here to teach us, grow us, and help us heal. When we give ourselves time to feel them, without trying to fix or fight them, something inside begins to shift.
This is how healing happens. Slowly. Gently. Like a storm passing and the cloudy sky clearing up. You don’t have to rush your feelings away. Just breathe. Be kind to yourself. Trust that you’re strong enough to feel what’s real and that these heavy emotions are only passing through.
May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey. Many blessings!
