It's so much easier to avoid our feelings by getting distracted with other stuff.....so it seems. When we avoid our "negative" feelings we are just stuffing it down thinking "I'm good!" "It's good!" "I'm fine!".....until it shows up again....and again....and again. You think that by not sitting with your feelings or avoiding an opportunity to do some healing everything will take care of itself and then you wonder why you keep getting triggered.
