One of the first words any young New Zealander learns after 'mum' and 'dad’ is the word property. You’d think I was joking, but, for whatever reason, there’s this culturally ingrained need to generate our wealth through property. A strategy that has been successful for some and financially crippling for others. So it’s about time we start investing with our eyes open and calling it for what it is, a business. A business that is growing in complexity with every changing law and ramped up regulative measure. A complexity that can be conquered, but, first you must start with knowledge and what better place to learn than from someone who has been through it.
