Stephanie Labbé (@stephlabbe1) is a Bronze medal winning goalkeeper for Team Canada women’s national soccer team. Recently, Labbé tried out with the Calgary Foothills of the Premier Development League and was granted a spot with the team, only for the league to deny her a place because she’s a woman. She joined The Scrum to discuss the media attention surrounding her story and her experiences with the Foothills.
