Carlos Verde (@Carlos77Verde) is a fourth-year journalism student at Carleton University in Ottawa. A few months back, he wrote an open letter to U SPORTS criticizing their approach to student journalism and suggesting solutions to their problems. After interviewing CEO Graham Brown (who claimed not to have read said letter) last week, we thought we should follow up by talking to Carlos and getting his thoughts on the situation.
