Description

Going from a 3 year starter at a Division I Football player as a defensive tackle, to completing a marathon can be one hell of a transformation for some; but just another day at the office for Mr. Ryan Boutwell. Coach Boutwell is now a practicing High School Strength & Conditioning Coach that spends his free time experimenting with training protocols and testing his body's extreme limits. He has transformed his body and his most recent feat has been completing the Austin Marathon. We dive into his journey through that process, the trials & tribulations, as well as how one can apply long distance running to their life. We also dive into how he develops himself mentally and spiritually, through literature and other experiences. Coach boutwell truly displays how various experiences (good and bad) can shape your perspective, and habits each and every day.
