Drs Krstevski & Romey discuss about Proficiency of Test Service, one of the EU- Reference Laboratory activities. It is organized and delivered annually to promote harmonization of the FMD diagnosis and to ensure proficiency and quality of FMD testing across EU member countries.
Dr Krstevski is an associate Professor in Infectious diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje, North Macedonia. He works with EuFMD on the part of the program focused on improved preparedness, coordination and networking of the laboratories in the South Eastern Europe region.
Dr Romey is assistant Ingenior at ANSES, OIE/FAO/EU FMD Reference Laboratory, Virology Unit, Animal Health Laboratory. She is also an expert in virology diagnostic (molecular, serological and virological diagnostic), Proficiency Test coordinator and FMD EURL Technical manager.
