Hi! I’m Gail Nobles. Welcome to Indie Sights. Today’s topic: RumRunners. RumRunners is a drama short film about a group of bootleggers in the big city looking to make names for themselves during prohibition plan for a job that could potentially put them all on the map.
The director is Jaleel Sampay. The film reminds me of a mobster movie. It starts out with a man & woman entering a stonewall basement. There is a long hallway and a man with a 1940 machine gun blocking a doorway to enter into a room. In the room, they meet a group of men where they sit down and talk about a deal. It seems they can’t agree, and everyone pulls out a gun. When the man and woman decides to leave, things don’t look good.
