FreeWay was blessed to receive the word from a young seminary student, Mr. Landon Moss on this past Sunday. His focus scripture passage was Ephesians 1:11-14. He reminded us that once we accept Christ, we receive an "inheritance." This inheritance is not like what we normally think of as a future compensation that has a limited value. Our inheritance in Christ is immediate and is guaranteed or "sealed" through the power of the Holy Spirit and will remain until the day of Christ. Indeed, our inheritance is better than life itself! Ephesians 1: 13-14 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
