Pastor Jeff was led by the Spirit to preach from Psalms 144:15. He reminded us that the word happy means "o how blessed." The Christian is indeed happy all the time because our happiness is eternal. Once you are saved, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This gift enables and gives you the power to make God Lord of your life. This is the root of happiness, knowing that you IF you are obedient to God, even when "bad" things happen, you remain happy. In fact, you will overflow with joy and peace that others simply cannot understand. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all hoy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Selah
