This past Sunday Pastor Jeff was led to preach about the story of Martha and her sister Mary. He emphasized that we should make it our aim to not just “position” ourselves at the feet of Jesus, but maintain that “posture.” Often times we allow ourselves to be distracted or “drawn away.” Jesus was so kind to Martha as he gently told her that she was concerned about too many things. (Luke 10:39-41) If she would switch her focus to “the one thing,” everything else would be in order. John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit: apart from me you can do nothing. Selah
