Pastor Jeff continued our corporate Bible study series this past Sunday from the book of 1 Corinthians. He reminded us that as Christians, our aim should be to advance God's kingdom. This is the primary reason God gives each of us gifts, talents, and opportunities. In order to advance God's kingdom, we must fall in love with Jesus. How do we know we love Jesus? We keep his commandments. (John 14:15) The focus scripture reiterates this fact as Paul makes it plain in 1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commands is what counts. Once we accept Christ, if we purpose in our hearts to obey Him, we are assured of our ultimate destination. We are heaven bound. Praise the Lord! Selah
