Isaiah 61:3
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” — Isaiah 61:3
Life has a way of trying to break us. Loss, regret, failure, heartbreak, shame, each can leave behind ashes of what once was. There are moments when we feel like everything around us has been consumed, and all we can do is sit in the ruins. But Isaiah 61:3 offers a hope that doesn’t just rebuild, it transforms.
