How many of us when things are going good such as bills paid, food in the fridge, and money in the bank are on fire for the Lord and thanking and parsing Him. People come to you and ask how are you doing? and you say Praise the Lord!!! God Is Good!!! cause all is well. Now, on the flip side, when things aren't so good like, bills behind, can barely make market, kids eating all the time, and the banks account is laughing at you, are you still Praising Him, or are you just letting your situation determine your Praise. Yea it's easy to Praise Him when things are going good, but can you take on that same Praise when the situation isn't so good. David said in Psalms 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. David went through ups and downs, but he still kept Praise in his Spirit. David even had to encourage himself when his men were ready to kill him because their wives and children were taken away from the camp. [David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.] 1 Samuel 30:6. So, which are you, do you Praise Him in the good times and bad, or are you that SITUATIONAL PRAISER? Join me Host Hezekiah L.
