When the Prophet Nathan went to King David to Rebuke him, David didn't even realize what was going on till the end of the Parable. God has a way of using Parables to show us a lesson. Parables are basically modern stories in modern times to make us say Uh ha! Got it. That’s the same thing Nathan did to our beloved King David. He told him one about someone who took something that belonged to some else and David got furious! So after Nathan revealed the truth to the King, then came repentance. Wow, that's a story, but it's not ending there. Let's look at an onion. An onion has many layers. But in order for us to get to the part of the onion that we like, well that you like, I don't like onions..lol..we have to peel the skin off, then peel a little more till we get to the part that we like. Well that's what happened to King David, and that's what God does to us. He allows things to happen to us until there comes a point where we have to start peeling layers of sin off of us till we get to the real us. Join me Hezekiah L.
