On this edition of the McGraw Family’s Young Artists Showcase, host Alexa Smith begins a two-part series featuring the Ravinia Steans Music Institute. Over the next two weeks, she shares performances from the Strings and Piano fellows in the program. On tonight’s program are performances of Ravel and Haydn.The Ravinia Steans Music Institute, named for Lois M. Steans, is a renowned international hub for young classical pianists, string players, singers, and jazz musicians.
