Our second Congressional District candidate forum, this time for New York's 27th District. The NY-27 District includes 5 towns in Monroe County, including Mendon, Rush (home to our Sunshine Campus), Wheatland, Hamlin, and a portion of Clarkson. It also includes Victor and Canandaigua. Both major party candidates have been invited. The Republican candidate and incumbent, Congressman Chris Jacobs, accepted our invitation.
Chris Jacobs is a conservative reformer, small businessman and United States Congressman representing the 27th Congressional District of New York. He was sworn in on July 21st, 2020 and serves on both the House Agriculture and Budget Committees. Prior to being elected to Congress he served in the New York State Senate and as Erie County Clerk.
