Thanksgiving day,2018 my first solo show, I went into the station to learn the equipment for I had been on the air like 3 times before with others and still did not feel comfortable running equipment. I had brought in my mom's recipe for gumbo, and many blues, jazz,zydecho,and local cds. I stayed on air, since no other dj was around, They were gone for the holiday. In the 8th hour I got a surpise visit from Orlando's singer songwriter, and good friend Terri Binion. It turned out to be the best first solo show ever, and I could not have ever chosen a better "first" musicial guest. Just pure magic. the Gumbo show is now a tradition. Thanks for being here.
