■ Silver alloy sintered with GIC
■ Strength is increased
Resin modified GIC
○ Resin added to gic
○ Setting reaction 2 types ー cold cure & light cure ∴ called dual cure
○ Never used for crown fixation - luting
○ Because it has a tendency to absorb water and this dislodges crown / fracture all-ceramic crowns.
○ Less fluoride* release than usual GIC
○ Used only for cementing post inside canal
○ Better aesthetics, bonding manipulation ease.
