Right before Jesus was crucified, Pilate presented Him to the gathered crowd and said, “Behold the man.” The raucous crowd replied, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” They did not fully grasp who this man was. Some thought He was demon- possessed. Others claimed He incited riots and broke the Laws of God. But this man we call Jesus is more than just a man. He’s God, Savior, Healer, King, Friend, Lord. If we are to follow Him as we are called, we must learn how to behold the man whom we call Jesus.
