So many of the convictions we hold and the truths we believe are captured in the songs we sing! The reality is, we are singing people, and music, as seen throughout the Bible, trains us in the practice of remembering who God is and what God has done for us. In the book of Psalms, we are encouraged to “Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts” (105:2). Through the gift of music, God has united art with truth and a way for the gospel message to sink itself into our hearts through singing and sharing our faith in song.
