The greatest invitation we will ever receive is to “follow” Jesus. Just as He called His first disciples to leave their nets and go with Him today, Jesus’ call is the same. He summons us to leave behind and let go of our busy and chaotic lives. He teaches us, empowers us, and offers us an opportunity to receive His salvation and go where He leads. Christ was always moving forward, and so must we. “Follow me” is still the call to abundant life, and it is our prayer we will accept His invitation to live out our faith and learn to extend the gifts He gives to others.
