Traditional Worship | Rev. Mark Sorensen |
When we use the term “model citizen,” we most often think of a person living an exemplary life, possessing such qualities as honesty, integrity and truth. Individuals who demonstrate these characteristics usually stand out in a crowd and are easily recognized. However, the New Testament is full of model citizens who walked in Jesus’ footsteps but were not always given the notoriety many other disciples received. Not only were they strong in their faith, but their influence and contribution to the early church was significant. This sermon series reveals a few lesser-known followers of our Lord who serve as an inspiration to us, reminding us that we all have unique gifts to offer as we walk in the footsteps of Christ.
