All Saints’ Day is a long-standing Christian celebration that stems from the belief that there is a powerful spiritual bond that connects us with those who have gone to be with God in the “Church triumphant.” It is a day when we pause and give God solemn thanks for the lives and deaths of His saints. This year, so many of us have walked “through the valley of the shadow of death,” or we have known someone who has been personally affected by the loss of a loved one. Bishop Bob Hayes has a special message for this sacred day of remembrance and celebration of life beyond death.
