With so many needs in this world, where does a person start if they want to help? Obviously, the first step is to feel drawn to serve others. If you’re drawn, or feel “called by God,” to enter into the pains and needs of others, the next best step is to identify the particular needs that seem to resonate most with your gifts or passions. And then, the fun begins as you uncover the opportunities all around you to use your gifts to meet the needs in your own “backyard.” This morning, Dr. John Hull joins me as we discuss those places where God has been welcoming our church into ministry, hoping that you might find your way into one of those or even into a ministry of your own.
