Su Robotti started the MedShadow Foundation in 2013 as a result of being harmed by DES, a med that was given to her mother while pregnant rendering her infertile. In 2017, Su was appointed to the FDA Advisory Committee on Drug Safety and Risk Management. She discusses the foundation’s website medshadow.org and it’s usefulness for people to research med side effects to discuss with their provider prior to consumption.
