Here is our final movie in the post-apocalyptic/dystopian future action block with 2014’s Edge of Tomorrow. Media Officer William Cage is forced onto the front lines during an alien invasion only to die and then wake up reliving the same day. After he encounters Sergeant Rita Vrataski on the battlefield in one of his loops she tells him to find her when he wakes up. She too had been stuck in a loop and now needs him to help her stop the assault on our world.
