Tim Davis wasn't always an active, healthy person. He had an idyllic childhood...until his father died. He was blamed for his father's death and spiraled into the world of addiction and mental illness.
After several rehabs, Tim finally got sober, but then gained over 70 pounds in his first year of getting sober from drugs and alcohol. On Dec. 31st, 2008, he stepped on the scale and weighed over 250 lbs at only 5 ft, 8 inches tall - this was almost all excess fat and not muscle.
When Tim's doctor told him that he was pre-diabetic and might not make it to 50 years old at the rate he was going...that was his wake up call.
Tune in to hear Tim's incredible journey from childhood trauma to Ironman triathlete.
