We can see by now that when companies make a social statement it might be bad for business. However, Ben and Jerrys has brought up a new topic, no matter how silly from a business standpoint. It is probably too late by now, but at some point the Indian tribes must have had a solid argument that the US government backed out of legal property rights agreements.
