On the eve of July 7, 2016 while a BlackLives Matter Protest was interrupted by Micah Johnson, I recorded a podcast. In an effort discuss the next move for Black people and our rightful place in this country, I decided to interview 3 teachers. We all know teachers are the unwritten heroes, often left out of history books (especially if they are woman) but last Thursday, I decided to focus on the future and who's molding the minds of America's future. We discussed the impact of education and economic power on the black community.
