In the early 1900s, Jefferson County was ravaged by an outbreak of tuberculosis – known as the "White Plague" – which prompted the construction of a new hospital, Waverly Hills Sanatorium in southwestern Louisville, Kentucky. Fast forward to 2001, the hospital soon gained a reputation for being haunted and stories began to circulate around town & the United States.
