We are beginning our excursion with Central Park - the Green Lungs of Manhattan. It cannot truthfully be called the biggest park in the city, but despite that it is certainly the most famous, significant and popular. The park is approximately 4 kilometers in length, and 840 meters in width. In spite of the fact that it appears to be a natural, primordial green space, it is completely planned and hand made.
