Shannon, a non-traditional student, transitioned from a physical therapy major after realizing her passion for medicine. They highlight the benefits of the Master of Medical Science (MMS) program, which prepared them for medical school and fostered resilience. They also discuss their roles in the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), emphasizing its support for pre-medical students and its advocacy for osteopathic medicine.
