Dr. Elizabeth Ardillo is a class of 2017 LECOM graduate of the School of Pharmacy. She was drawn to natural alternative therapies as a teenager and continued to work in a pharmacy during her academic and pre-professional career. After graduation, she even relocated to work full-time with the same company. Elizabeth is currently the Director of Medical Education and Lead Pharmacist at Green Thumb Industries. She is also the Clinical Director of Rise Maryland. These positions allow her to work directly with physicians and patients to improve health and wellness through the use of cannabis. Elizabeth shares her experience as a student, her transition to being a pharmacist with a cannabis company, and keys to her path toward becoming one of the LECOM healthcare heroes.
