As an advocate for animation as a storytelling medium, the switch from animation to live-action for the Ahsoka series had me a bit disappointed. After sitting with the finale for a couple weeks, I cannot shake the feeling that what we were delivered was not the best possible telling of this particular story, and I think that comes down to one crucial factor, the change in mediums.
