"The Convert" is Mando's most interesting episode to date, opting to follow Dr. Pershing's time on Coruscant and give us our first true glimpse of the New Republic and how it operates. While the episode might understandably drag for some, I enjoyed the heavy nods to books like Alphabet Squadron, Bloodlines, and Lost Stars, as well as revealing the dark facade of the New Republic. Oh, and this episode starts with one of the best live-action dogfights weve gotten in Star Wars.
