"Between the Beats" director Martin O'Brien invites you to a celebratory evening and tribute to 90s rave culture this Saturday, December 14th.
Join us for a screening of "Between the Beats" at Harmony Gold Theater from 7.00pm (screening at 7.30pm) followed by a film release party at Academy LA from 10pm, presented by Insomniac and The Gathering.
Take a journey to the epicenter of the 1990’s American rave scene with Detroit house & techno legend Kevin Saunderson, innovator of the San Francisco house music scene DJ Garth, and founder of the beloved collective Friends & Family, DJ Ethan Miller. This tribute to 90’s rave culture celebrates the iconic San Francisco party, The Gathering, that evolved into the hugely popular west coast dance music scene of today. Join us to feel the magic of this influential era.
